Despite my eclectic background with non-accounting qualifications, I became CIPM certified and ACCA qualified whilst at PEBNIC with all papers passed at first sitting. My success in these exams can be majorly accredited to learnings on the job as I had no external tutelage for the exams. I was looking for a job that offers a challenging and rewarding career when I came across PEBNIC. The journey so far has been all I wanted and more. I started out as an intern at PEBNIC during my NYSC year and immediately felt the warm welcome throughout the entire office. Whilst within the service year, I could not believe the IT innovations and Business Systems designs for specific PEBNIC operations that our Team was required to develop or upgrade. The culture of continuous improvement is a reality in this company that seem not to blow its own trumpet but painstakingly work toward excellence At the end of NYSC year, I could already look back with pride to the Business and IT projects where I made significant contribution while I kept learning programming languages and skills on the job. I simply found myself in a full-time work opportunity with an amazing company doing something I truly enjoy while also progressing professionally and personally.
At PEBNIC, you are not limited to your area of study at the University as the company has a tradition of encouraging you to pursue your passion. I graduated from the University as an Engineer but after a brief stint in Sales Engineering, PEBNIC opened up my career path to Compliance and Risk Management while also encouraging me towards professional certification. I currently lead the Process Compliance Audit Team for Logistics Operations

I had started in PEBNIC from the bottom of the ladder as a Forklift Operator while working hard to complete my first degree. After completing my studies, I was challenged at different site locations with Shift Supervisory responsibilities on Fleet Safety and Management. With constant on-the-job and soft skills training, I have grown to become one of the company’s Site Managers with location responsibilities for Customer Service, Safety, Fleet Availability & People Management.
I had joined PEBNIC with a clear focus on building my Mechanical Engineering skills but I indeed got more. Not only was I challenged with assignments in the Forklift Engineering field but the company helped to build my people leadership and organizing skills over time through site management assignments. PEBNIC pursues global standards through its membership of institutions like the British Safety Council and Forklift Truck Association UK. This has provided me training and orientations on safety administration beyond my expectations. An outstanding benefit for my Engineering career in PEBNIC is the company’s strategic alliance with TCM Forklifts. PEBNIC sponsors its Technical Team’s participation in the Service Technician Education Program (STEP) that is administered by MITSUBISHI LOGISNEXT JAPAN, the makers of TCM Forklifts.
